Hi! I was wanting to know if I could help out patrolling images. I was reading another thread and it said non-admins can help do it, so I looked at Patrol Unlicensed Images on wikiHow
. I kind of remember another thread about this, like, adding your name to a list that automatically sends unpatrolled images’ user’s a license notice, but I couldn’t find it. If it changed and I do have to be an admin (to delete the images), then that’s okay. Thanks! June Days

The script is essentially an automatic version of inquiring of unlicensed images, as well as removing them from articles and
deleting them, so that would be the “you would need to be an admin” part. Essentially, before inquiring minds step into assisting and putting their names in the script, they would know how to deal with images, as well as knowing how to double check if an image is truly theirs, or persay, found somewhere else (we all use either Google Images or TinEye). If anyone is interested in helping and knows the basics, they can edit any unlicensed image page with {{Notified}} and use http://www.wikihow.com/Template:License
on the editor’s talk page. If there’s no response after a week or if it’s deemed copyrighted, you can then go back onto the image page and change it to {{Ifd}} and put {{ImageLicense}} on the editor’s talk page. (Basically, you would find out that you would get thee best source of knowledge by actually following the “How to Patrol Unlicensed Images on wikiHow” article and gaining knowledge/experience)
