Hey, so an anon user left a fanmail on the [[Draw a Human Skeleton]] page asking this:

“’‘Hello, I love your skeletons. I was wondering if I could use the posed one and make an embroidery of it?’’” They’re the wikiHow-made images, so what’s the policy? I feel like it should be allowed, being the wiki way, but I wasn’t sure.

As you can see on any image they upload by clicking on it, all images uploaded by the Wikiphoto team are licensed as Creative Commons (CC BY-NC-SA 3.0), just like every article. CC BY-NC-SA 3.0 means that the images must be properly attributed; used non-commercially; and follow sharealike, meaning that if the image is changed, it must be distributed under the same license as the original. More information about these three rules can be found here , and a guide to attributing wikiHow can be found here .

If you really want a more in-depth explanation of the copyrights wikiHow uses, you can find it in the Terms of Use
