I’ve just come to notice yesterday that a lot of articles on good topics didn’t have any images and illustrations. That didn’t sound right, since visual aids should be in almost every article, as they make understanding the instructions easier. So, I’m hoping for people to take notice of this and help reuse some illustrations/images! Instead of loading Wikivisual with work, we can always find some articles that need images, and we can just reuse the images from other articles!

One way I do it is just go to WRM and find articles that need illustrations.:slight_smile:

Right with you! I do believe this was a project at one point, but the majority of projects have gone inactive by now:stuck_out_tongue:But that doesn’t mean we can’t keep up their work! I enjoy reusing images when I can.

@HelperOnWikihow Me too! I does take time though, but it’s fun t to add visual aids to articles; also, your images might and will definitely help the reader!

Yeah! Having that visual can certainly help the reader grasp the information.

@HelperOnWikihow Agreed.

I either make my own visuals or re-use others for all the images I add, so I will definitely get on that!

Hooray!

May have put the cart before the horse : )  Is there a way to do this, since the picture patrol is down?

@Reepicheep - Picture Patrol isn’t involved in the process of reusing images on articles. It’s for determining whether an image should appear in the Recently Created section of an article (user-created images). We don’t need Picture Patrol to reuse wikiHow images , since image reuse is edit-based :)

This is a great idea. It will certainly help loads of people.:smiley:
