I am in need of a friendly bit of advice on something that has happened to me rather recently! Nearly three weeks ago, I received a friendship request on Facebook from a boy with whom I used to be friends more or less a decade ago.
Our friendship did not end on bad terms, we simply did not keep in touch anymore through all these years and so his request kind of took me aback, in a positive way of course! Do you guys think he sent me the request to rekindle our friendship? Or is it just meaningless Facebook stuff?

Use the Facebook Messages tool right on the Facebook website or through your Facebook Messenger app (from your mobile devices’ app-store). Ask the person who sent you that information what they meant without sounding harsh.
Lots of people try to reconnect via Facebook. I’d take it as a friendly wish to link up with the past, to see who remembers him, etc. It can be painful to age… from disillusionment to loneliness.
You can always Snooze him, Unfriend him, or Block him if he weirds you out later.
