It’s been a long time since I patrolled, so I don’t know what problems have been faced or what has been done to stop them. I am aware that, the article changes automatically after we click the “RollBack” button. But, if we have to do a quick edit, when do we do it? Before clicking rollback? Wouldn’t that rollback our edit too
? It’s causing a bit of inconvenience for me. Any solution or advice please?
Thanks in advance ~Shina.
Well, Shinny, when you click the “Rollback” button, it’s automatically marked as patrolled, then move to the next article
And you can edit that articled (Rolled back) later. A bit of inconvenience, I admit. Cheers ~Mathyoo
I believe this was an update to the RC patrol app that came weeks ago. If you believe it’s an inconvenience, please contact Krystle and she’ll see what she can do. Thanks! http://forums.wikihow.com/discussion/6312/updates-to-rc-patrol-app-try-it-out/

If you see the need to do an edit, you might want to click the history tab to go back and edit the earlier revision, whether or not you mark it patrolled in the ''pre-rolled back" state. There is a work around for the problem, but I am not sure if it is available to the whole community, you can ask Rueben about it, or Krystle, as noted, above.

@Shinako
This was an “upgrade” that seems to have had quite the opposite effect! Is it something you can work around? If not, there is a way I can make it work the old way for you.
@Krystle
: Me too ^ ^ Sometimes I accidentally click on Rollback
Really? That’s great. I would love to work the old way

Sometimes they don’t show the changes, which is a inconvenience.

We really don’t need to be OCD about posting ''Please don’t bump old threads", some threads remain relevant, and posting a message urging people not to bump old threads only helps in a general term, giving them a friendly message on their talkpage explaining why we ‘‘shouldn’t bump old threads’’ would be more effective.
Thanks for the feedback! I actually saw that it was an important point, so please delete my comment above?
To put my own findings on this topic. The http://www.wikihow.com/Special:RCPatrol
tool just doesn’t work at all for me at the moment. Multiple buttons like rollback, post a message and quick edit just do not work for me. @Krystle
Do you know anything about this? I’m back to patrolling the with this: http://www.wikihow.com/Special:Recentchanges
Anyone else experiencing similar issues?

@Clarinetdude
Works alright for me, can you open a different thread for this? Mention your browser, perhaps get a screencast? I’ll investigate.
@Krystle
. Hmmm. The problem has gone temporarily. However, it sporadically comes back every now and then. If it happens again in the next week or so, I will make a new thread and post more details. Thanks.
