I had an idea that I think will be very useful. Here it goes. So do you know how the admins always send a welcome message to newcomers well I think that should go ahead but maybe there should be a link to an article made by the admins introducing important tools, a link to the forums page ect. I just think it will be efficient and easier rather then having to try and find everything yourself. I mean I am still finding new surprises on here.

Admins are not the only people who have a welcome bot to send messages to new contributors, there is a portal on the Community Dashboard for Welcomers can do that + any wikiHow contributor can if they wish send a personal welcome message. We do send links to various pages, however it can be overwhelming for a new contributor to receive loads all at once.
@SarahB
Thank you very much for your response.
@ WithGlitter
Why did you post a comment saying edited?
@Zachariah05
, she edited the comment to remove it after posting.
@ Galactic Radiance
Thank you. I have never seen that before.

The welcome message is automatic for every new user. It includes a link to the wikiHow Tour which outlines what we are and invites the new user to participate.
I’m at a loss to understand why it’s now being suggested that we do something we’ve been doing for years now?

@ Zachariah05
you did get the tour link, check out your talk page wikihow.com/User_talk:Zachariah05
Please also be careful of your tone here, your response to @ Loiswade42
sounds a little aggressive and as you know wikiHow is a nice place to be
@SarahB
I checked over it and my laptop had not fully loaded the msg and that’s why I didn’t see it
