So, this question is pretty straightforward;

Is there a way for me to make a template so I don’t have to rewrite certain messages over and over? I likely won’t use something like this as much, but it would be kind of helpful. An example of what I mean is how {{test}} is when a user removes a full page.

There is a way to make a template, but if it’s a coaching template (like {{test}}), it needs community consensus first. What were you looking to make?:slight_smile:

You can make things which are kind of templates, and are sub-pages of your user page. For example, I use {{ User:Cpcakehuman/TU }} to say thanks for a thumbs up. These do take a while to type out, but they seem to work just the same as templates.

Just something I can put that when posted, it gives a message rather than me needing to rewrite it.

Oops. I meant to say {{blank}}!

In general, we want to stay as personal as possible, so we encourage writing personal notes, but you might want to look over the templates we have here: https://www.wikihow.com/wikiHow:Templates and see if there’s something in there that covers a message you often need to write:slight_smile:

Why not create your personalized note in either a document that can be saved to Word or Google Docs, OneNote or some other document editor and use copy&paste when you need them to whatever users?

True. And thanks @JayneG :slight_smile:
