The algorithm just found me this video. It doesn’t exactly have a lot of views, but is this the kind of reuse wikiHow is encouraging or what? They didn’t even bother to edit out “this wikiHow will describe…” in the beginning. I suppose that could be a form of giving credit, but it could also suggest to someone who saw it that the entire (crummy) video, not just the content, is coming from here.

I’m sure she will see this, but pinging @JayneG for staff attention. I think we’ve seen scraping like this turned into super horrible low quality videos before, @Dvortygirl … of course this isn’t anything wikiHow condones and it’s definitely not fair attribution or reuse.

If my memory is correct, I think Chris has been successful in getting videos like this taken down, but I don’t remember all the details.
