Greetings !
Is this right ?
I have started a discussion on our wikihow forums in general chat repective links of which I have quoted below… But I made a mistake by starting a new thread on the same topic when my previous thread was still active(because I was unable to delete my previous thread) .
In reaction to it one of the respected Admins or Bureaucrats closed my both threads quoting the reason that multiple threads are not allowed on the same topic .
So if that was the reason Why my both threads were closed . Atleast one of them should have been kept open or before doing anything they must have issued a warning to me but nothing as such was done .
Then I started a third thread which was again closed .
So why are they closing my threads ? They also said that it was spamming .
I am not spamming . It would have been spamming if I would have posted the same topic somewhere else on wikiHow . But I have used forums’ general chat to discuss my topic .
The reason I am writing this is that if a person who contributes to wikiHow if said that he is spamming , in other words degrading wikiHow , then he will not definitely like it .
So , I request them if they get what I like to convey then please atleast open one of my threads .

Any WikiHow Admin please guide me to what to do .
Hey, you know that i am not an admin. But i am posting to say that i am sorry for what you have been through. May be it is assumed that you know the forum rules (that you have been here for so long) or because it does not relate with wikiHow.
@Vishwavijay
it cannot be said that my post should have to relate to wikihow … Because the general chat section of forums itself says “Talk about any non-wikiHow related topics” . Thats why I chose to post my topic here not anywhere else on wikihow .
I’d say your problem exists from mass confusion and the really uptight condition to keep the forums organize. I’m certainly not an admin and do not know any rules whatsoever. I had something similar occur on the after market guitar pickup company Seymour Duncan’s forum, I had posted an off topic photo and the head Nazi I mean admin got upset and put a trolling label on my account. That’s why I don’t choose that brand anymore with the point being that you should get too upset over this.
Well @Vishwavijay
and @DividedGuitarist
I am still waiting for any admin’s view on this topic hoping that they would atleast open one of my threads or allow me to start a new one . My previous topics which were closed were about my new wiki wikidifferences
.
So I am waiting If they allow me to write about that topic .
Ummm If you are not getting any response here, you may try asking an admin directly via email or talk page. May be thats an option to know better.
Contacting directly is a great idea, also, I meant to say you shouldn’t get too upset

I know this is old, but… I didn’t close any of these threads, but I’d be happy to explain to you why these are closed. I’d also like to note that these are all older threads as well. Have you tried again recently? Its absolutely fine to start a thread over this, but I think a better way to handle this may have been to email an admin directly and ask if they can help you with this. We often have new users create accounts and post threads discussing a site they want to advertise under the same name as their username. Its generally a tell tale sign of someone creating a spam thread. But I totally get that you weren’t. Thread 1 was closed because it looks like you made it at the same time as thread 3 and were making multiple threads at a time. Thread 2 was likely closed because it looked pretty spammy, and probably similar reasoning behind thread 3. When you start a thread, its important that you have a “prompt” for the readers. For example, try having a few sentences dedicated to how a user can help and what you want from them and what to discuss within the thread. Otherwise, it looks like blatant advertising. I’m addition, just posting a link to your website on a 6 month old thread isn’t really okay.
It’s called bumping, it looks rather spammy, and has no actual content. I’m closing this thread due to bumping, and it seems like the conversation is pretty wrapped up. @Lal.Abhishek
Please email me, another administrator, or Anna or Krystle with any further questions about this if you still don’t understand.
Closing.
