… many Language Project pages are being set up with untraditional code. The code contains language issues where those who have to determine what they are for are seeing code that has been translated into the language of the Project page. Seeing that this isthe English wikiHowwhere these Language Project pages are being created, (thinking to uniformity) can’t we just go ahead and change this code so that it’s expressed in English?
User lists wouldn’t be changed - they can stay on the final page - but for the readability of the page, it might be best to focus these Language Project pages on text written in English until these Language Projects are more established languages (in which case these can get translated as they get moved to their own subsite). Their personal content is safe and can be brought over to the correct translated to English version, but the rest of the page would change from the base language to English.
When I went through all our Language Project pages in the wikiHow namespace, I found that although a majority of them are written in English - a few are written in other languages that I don’t think many people understood the details to…

But I later noticed that while there are also about 55 languages listed with the correct category designating that these are Language project pages, others were written inaccurately and/or without a category, so aren’t being noticed by readers looking for the project page itself. The following (now 0) project pages listed provide links providing incorrect or incomplete categorization.
