I don’t want to lie, the approve questions tool is pretty high at the moment. We need to do more of it! By the way, if you post stuff like ‘We already try our best’ I know that. You work really hard and you don’t have to help. This is just an ask if you have any free time.
I find flagging inappropriate unanswered questions important too. I see a lot of bad unanswered questions to. Remember quality over quantity.
I am not against approving more questions, but this reminds me of a time I posted “Let’s crunch some backlog…” Just simply saying “Let’s do this” doesn’t necessarily help, but saying “Questions backlog high - help crunch this!” may help a little.
Currently, the approve questions backlog is at almost 200,000. This will take a long time to bring down. But maybe one day, we can all work together on reviewing each and every question.
@JayneG
do you have anything else to add?
I will use this tool today. Hopefully it will help.
Thanks guys! And @Awesome-Aasim
thanks for your input
Here we should start a project! I will start it!
@Teensitting-3
There generally isn’t any need to start projects for Dashboard tools, since the activity for that project is compiled in one central place already
I see your point, I started the project already, but I made it for all of the things in the stormy weather section. That way it isn’t just the approve questions project. If you disagree @Galactic-Radiance
tell me.
I think the problem with that project is that there is no rush to crunch backlog. If you focus on everything in “Stormy weather” you may feel pressured to rush, and I know you left a message on the project saying there is no rush. I think a bit of backlog does no harm to the project. The purpose of viewing how much backlog there is is so you can see how long you think it will take. For hundreds of thousands of questions, it may take about two seconds per question. Assuming no loading time, it will take (184092*2)/60/60/2 days assuming you are willing to spend max two hours per day on this backlog, which is almost 60 days. Loading times may bring this number up to almost an entire year. I think it would be best if we just have the backlog be crunched whenever someone feels like it, instead of organizing a project dedicated to just crunching backlog.
If you want the project page that you created deleted, you can maybe ask @Galactic-Radiance
or @JayneG
for guidance. I appreciate your efforts, though, to try to make wikiHow a better place, but there is no need to make projects on reducing backlogs.
We have many notes on quality over quanity
There’s a categorizing project, I do believe.
Yeah, it has the most memers of like any project
@Teensitting-3
what do you mean?
Well if you look at the members section, there is like over a hundred names below it.
Oh you put memers and I was confused hehe
