Rising stars are new articles of good quality and are displayed on the main page along with FAs. I agree that they can’t be up to the standards of FAs since they are brand new, but that doesn’t mean that they should have some noticeable errors. I see many rising stars which have common errors yet they aren’t corrected, like silly spelling mistakes or personal references. Since these articles are also displayed on the main page, I believe that it is our responsibility to correct such errors which could otherwise be a let-down for our readers. Whenever you spot something like this, quickly fix it! For NABers :Be more careful while NABing (myself included). Don;t let the big numbers affect your boosting. For Others :If you by chance be patrolling such rising stars, take a moment and do a quick edit. or, if you somehow land on that page and notice such things, go forward and do the edit! Don’t hesitate! One such example here . Do you agree with me? Can you suggest some more points to be added to this? Any suggestions and constructive criticism?

I agree with you.

A little tip to add for boosters (this includes myself as a booster): Be sure that if there are any templates on a particular article, that you do the editing that the template calls for before marking the article as a Rising Star.

This is a great topic, I don’t NAB, I never could pass a test, and don’t care to try, but if there is a list of RS’s, I would scan them occasionally to practice my butchering on! Great reminder!

I am with you, BR. It would be nice to have a list of the RS’s and we’d go thru them .

We do have one: http://www.wikihow.com/wikiHow:Rising-star-feed
