You guys know what I’m going through, and I’m trying to edit to keep my mind off of things, but I can’t find any inspiration to edit one single thing. It’s like it doesn’t interest me anymore. Has this ever happened to you? And if so, how did you break out of it? I have tried and tried, please help!:stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve had something similar to that before. Maybe find something new to do. Find a topic you have expertise on, and do some deep edits on articles about it, and then look at how much better it is.:wink:Or, if you are tired of bold edits, go copyedit some. Or go take pictures for an article. =) Hope that gives you some ideas!

I have. It was so bad one time, I took a wikiBreak for a month. You got some good advice right above me ^.

What IZ said. I. have a bad case if it and still do…Whet I’d do is go through NFDs and find something that catches your eye. For example, I edited an article about staying safe at an ATM…I didn’t even think about it until I saw the title…Things cone up just like that! =) June Days

Or maybe consider having a break for a week, I wouldn’t worry about it too much as I’m sure your creative juices will start flowing sooner than you can say " I love Wikihow".

When wikiHow has a million articles (if it ever does), there still will be plenty of unwritten topics. For an exercise, get a notebook and a writing stick and list down all the article ideas you have, and at the end of the day, check if the article is already written. You’ll be surprised how many unwritten articles wikiHow has!

^ That’s what I do!:wink:June Days

You can also write down a list of things you’ve recently learned, and then implement them to articles!:slight_smile:For example, one of the days I went horseback riding I re-learned a lot of things you should do with your horse at the beginning of the ride. I wrote them down on a sticky note on the computer, and then went through the horse riding articles and added what I could.

Thanks guys so much, I’ll start getting back on track soon.

Awesomeness:slight_smile:
