Thanks for questioning. The regular used books are expensive. http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/4529038912/ref=s9_simh_gw_p14_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=AN1VRQENFRJN5&pf_rd_s=center-1&pf_rd_r=0EKETT6JK9JQQ57QQ8G7&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=463376736&pf_rd_i=489986 This copy of my book is irregular sale. Book + appendix (straw and eye): 1000 yen + (mailing cost of about 500 yen) Selling agency :Shibase industrial corporation. http://www.shibase.co.jp/ e-mail : shiraga@shibase.co.jp But I don’t know how to pay. But a basic way of making is on wikiHow.:slight_smile:Work collection page of an amateur author. Please click the respective names. http://www.shibase.co.jp/artstraw/work/index.html Thanks for everyone! **Merry X’mas!**

Wow… I did the conversion. The least expensive one is going for $103 USD with $3 shipping. Okay… I guess I’ll make do with the online version! I wonder what they cost at a store in Japan? And how much it would be to ship one? We could put them up on the English Amazon… for a fraction of $103 I would bet.

It’s closer to $18 usd at the Shibase link.

Congratulations, Minako! Thanks for sharing all of your beautiful work with us over the years. I never heard of straw art or plastic arts until you started writing about it for wikiHow and I’m sure you’ve introduced straw art to millions of people through wikiHow alone.

Thank you so much! The first price (fixed price) was 500 yen (6 dollars). But a reprinted edition with a kit is about 12 dollars. I (of an author) can’t believe the price of the used book. (500 yen is 1 coin. A child can buy that by spending money.) Soaring thought regrettably and reproduced this book. I’m sorry for a selling agency doesn’t consider for an overseas reader.

Sugoi! I love it! Your straw art is tottemo kirei and it’s great to see your work featured like this!
