As probably noted before in a previous thread (don’t worry, this isn’t a bug report), when the categories were added under the “Explore” thread in the header, most of the categories didn’t fit on the screen. Which sometimes, of course, can pose a problem, but what I’m most concerned about is that the “Help” link (which is the very last link under the “Explore” tab) is almost always covered up.

Basically, to make it easier for users to reach out, and of course, to make the Help Team link more accessible, I was wondering if it was possible that we move the “Help” link directly above all the categories – this might obstruct one of the categories, but I honestly think that the Help Team link is somewhat more important.

Here’s a screenshot (when zoomed in at 100%, Help link is obstructed):

I… actually never ever knew the button was there, even though I use the explore tab a lot.

Anyway, I think we should move it.

Hmm, the Help link shows on my screen even if I have the screen zoomed in. What size screen or what device are you using @WikiaWang ?

My screen resolution is 1920x1080 on a Dell Vostro 5402 using the latest Firefox.:slight_smile:

I wish we could add the Admin notice board on the explore tab too or make a “users” section with that stuff?

I wanted to point out that since the “Technical Skills Library” option has been added to the explore menu, the help link has now been bumped down and has disappeared for me. I think that moving the help link to “Help Us” or “My Profile” would be a good idea.

It turns out that there are plans to add another menu option that will take some of these new ones out of the “Explore” tab and into their own - so it will be resolved soon without needing to move the Help option. This report will help speed up the changes for the menu, so thanks for reporting it!

Ah, that makes sense! So is the new tab menu going to be something like “Categories” where the categories will be moved under that?

This has now been updated so “Help” is above the category listing. Now even if there are extra items in the Explore menu, Help will still show for everyone:slight_smile:
