I’ve been noticing for the longest time now, that the articles I’m beginning aren’t being edited by other NABers. Instead, they are being held off until staff NABers (hence Anna and now @JayneG
) are editing them.
The articles I start are rather easy to tackle. I tend to get a bit wordy and may just need some simplifying here and there. I try to remember to spell and grammar-check the articles, but a double-check is rather easy to go through. If there’s something that just doesn’t sound right, you can always contact me and I can help adjust so it can - or help out yourself if you know anything about the topic.
The majority of the articles I create are tech-oriented, but I do know of several that are more “special”-user geared towards rideshare companies (because I rideshare-drive for them) and am also a deliverer (hence the Shipt Shopper-geared articles). While it would be great to see those who don’t know much about these topics go the extra mile and do more research that I sometimes miss - citing sources and the like - there have been times where I’ve wandered off-course and out of tech starting things I deeply believe in after having quite a bit of knowledge in pieces (such as the information behind the “need” to create https://www.wikihow.com/Travel-on-Interstate-95
a few weeks ago).
They should also be super-easy to promote, with some help. I’ve made it easy to see my noticed name in the creator field by including my real first name and username in the same field - making it easy to converse with me. I like to collaborate, and without collaboration from some, it makes it tough and things just don’t get done.
