I think it would be good if we had a forum thread where anyone could post articles that maybe should be written but haven’t so far. This is instead of posting a completely new forum each time someone thinks of an article that should be written. I would like to hear your thoughts on it guys! Hannah Banana xox
I was thinking that the New Article Promotion thread in the Collaboration Corner section was for this, but it’s used to promote articles, so yes, this sounds like a greatidea.

I think it makes more sense to create a new thread for each idea. With one long thread, it becomes confusing and cluttered when people start replying. Also, it’s easier to collaborate on the article with a thread dedicated to a single article, rather than an umbrella thread, because all the replies are relevant to the idea. The other problem is that once the thread sinks down in the list of active threads, people won’t see it, and will post a new thread anyway.
Good point @Isorhythmic
!
Hmm… I feel as if having its own forum category would come in handy here. All of the articles could be in one central location without becoming overwhelming or cluttered. (:

@Tiagoroth
+1, best suggestion yet.
Hmm but couldn’t you have it in a separate section altogether so it doesn’t get cluttered? You could also delete the suggestions as soon as they are written. It just reveals the more convenient articles instead of just requesting them @Isorhytmic

I personally like the idea of suggesting articles on the forums. It’s been done before and made some great articles. I’m not sure we need a full category for it though; it seems to me that the Collaboration Corner is already a good enough place for these types of threads.

Please do not place offensive words on any posts. It is not appropriate. I think it would be a good idea to create a separate category for new article suggestions.
Okay. I think we should keep the idea open though. Thanks for the explanations @Hailey
