This might be a stupid idea but I do have one on a new tool we could possibly introduce to this community. Recently, I decide on writing another article but answering some peoples’ requests. Essentially, I saw that some of the requests were duplicates of already written articles. I thought it might be a good idea if we set up a tool that deletes duplicate requests and informs the requesters that there is an article already on that. This could cut down a lot of the duplicate articles that are made because people think they are in the requested pages because they need to be made if you get what I mean. I would like to hear everyone’s thoughts on this. Thanks!:slight_smile:Hannah Banana xox

Admins already can do that only, and they are more experienced, so they can only do that.

A board exists where you can post suggestions that you think are fit for deletion. If you come across any duplicate requests, please post them there. I periodically check the board, and delete most requests posted there:slight_smile:

Okay then! Thanks @Hailey_Girges and @Tiagoroth for your help! Hannah Banana xox

I never knew such things. Thanks for the help!

nice idea

Wow, I never knew there was a board for it.

I posted a small bit about the existing tools for requested topics here . It may be interesting to you guys.

Thanks again @Tiagoroth and same @Savas_P . I will go and have a look at it.

Thanks for the explanation in the other thread. (I didn’t want to bump it from a while ago, here’s relevant.) I’ve been using the manage-suggested-topics tool to reject the ones that are totally bogus (like “how to have sex” or aren’t how-to’s) and wanted to make sure I wasn’t wasting my time, and they were actually getting deleted.

@HannahBananaxox I still think you have a good idea. It would be much easier to delete the topics then and there.

Hmm that’s what I think, we could keep the idea out there and maybe let it develop but either way we can have that topic covered @Savas_P
