Hi guys I’ve had an idea to start a new project called the Forgotten Article Boost. Its mission is to fix up articles that have been overlooked and have old ‘cleanup’ ‘stub’ or any other tags on them, like this one: http://www.wikihow.com/Transition-a-Wardrobe-from-Summer-to-Fall
Does anyone think that this is a good idea or has any advice? And the wikihow page on starting projects says that I need ‘two or three editors’ that agree to work on it with me at first… Would anyone like to? I think that it could work… And also it has a really cool abbreviation as well.
Looking forward to feedback From Cat
You mean if they were demoted?

I wouldn’t mind doing this.
Yes, or just generally if they needed some work and hadn’t been edited for ages.

For stubs, we have the Stub greenhouse
, which aims to improve articles that have been tagged as a stub.

I don’t think we’re talking about stubs; rather demoted articles.
To improve stubs is not the mission of the FAB… It’s to work on articles that have old cleanup, merge, title, or even picture tags… any old tag really that hasn’t been noticed by an editor for a very long time. It’s an issue that needs to be addressed on wikihow because I see so many articles that have been ‘forgotten’. The FAB’s job will be to seek out and find these articles and either alert an NAB or admin about tags that they cannot address, like title or merge tags, or address tags like cleanup and picture tags themselves.
Hey, could somebody kindly close this thread please? The project has been active for a while now so this thread isn’t really needed.
