I have made a template for users who use words such as I and my: Check it out! http://www.wikihow.com/Template:Thirdperson
Post feedback and suggestions please!
^ Was wanting to do that, I was going to proper it later - Beat me to it! May I edit it a bit? =) June Days
Look at that, I understand if it’s a major change, it does tell a little bit more about it. =) June Days
Yep. According to policy, coaching templates need community approval before they can be created. Let alone used.

This would need community approval before being used, but I also wanted to mention that we already have a template about this already. You can write {{personal}} on someone’s talk page and this nice message will pop up: Hi! I noticed that you have been using first-person language (e.g. “I”, “me”, “my”, or “we”) – what gets referred to on wikiHow as personal references This concerns me because it makes the article harder to understand, since wikiHow articles are edited by several people. It’s a good idea to write from personal experience, but doing away with personal references makes the topic more general and useful to all readers. You can learn more about how to avoid using personal references, as well as review the Writer’s Guide to learn how you can improve your article even more. Could you please read these documents and contact me if you have any further questions? Thank you very much for your recent contributions to wikiHow. Our editors here greatly appreciate your efforts.
Ooooooh, nice! =) June Days

I’d have to go with a redirect to {{personal}}. But that’s just me… :\

^ Agree. I think we don’t really need {{Thirdperosn}} because we already have {{Personal}}.

why not have both? it would give the person posting it an choice on which one they think sounds more appropriate, therefore letting them sleep easy knowing that they picked the right one instead of just merely posting what was supplied
The grammar in this is kind of… off. I’ll take a longer look at it later but please don’t use this until the community has a chance to look at it and approve it (t’is policy).
