I’m running into a lot of mistakes by due to the spell-checker flagging correct words as incorrect. Anyone want to add to/modify/decorate the following for a Quick Note template? Hi there! I really appreciate the time you are taking trying to fix typos, but the spell-checker gets it wrong sometimes. If it’s a known typo, like freind instead of friend, feel free to change it. If it’s in any kind of wiki (in brackets) or html code, be very sure you know the code before changing it. For brand names, such as wikiHow, look at the website for how it is supposed to appear. For words you aren’t absolutely sure about, you can check dictionary.com . For things that are red but are actually correct, you can skip them or add them to the [[wikihow:Administrator Notice Board|whitelist]] for updating. It’s a new system so it still needs a little work. Thanks for your help!

I give that a TU! I (Like you), have run into things like that, more times than I can count. I think it’s a good idea, anyone else?:slight_smile:June Days

That’s why I love being patrolled!:wink:

I like this:slight_smile:It’s very friendly and informative. I’m not sure about putting it in the quick note rotation (if that’s what you meant) but it should be easy enough to type into the quick note box with whatever name we give it, such as {{spellchecker}}

Yup, just a template to type quickly.

Good suggestion!

{{spellchecker}} now exists. Can we add it to the list of templates?

Thanks so much!
