Sometimes when I’m doing NFD guardian I’ll vote for an article, and then later see the same one again. It just happened with http://www.wikihow.com/Trick-Your-Mom-Into-Not-Going-to-School
. Someone else had already voted for deletion (I think it was Isorhythmic. It was definitely an admin- this article should have gotten deleted after my vote). I voted to delete, and four articles later I see it again. It’s not always the same number of articles later. I use safari on my iphone.

My guess is the first time didn’t register for some reason, so that’s why it showed up again. I’m not certain but I wonder if it’s something to do with using your iPhone? None of our desktop tools are promised to work on mobile devices like that, and I know from my own experience it can be hard to hit the right buttons, hah! Might be best just to use a desktop or laptop for voting, if you think that might be the cause. I do know a few of our tools show repeats here and there because of connection errors or other “glitches” in the vote being cast; in the scheme of things, as long as only one vote is being logged, that’s probably okay. If you see an article over again, you can always pick your same vote again, or check the logs to see whether your original vote was registered before. If we can get more a pattern to pin down a specific scenario when this happens, I can ask an engineer to take a look, but without being able to reproduce the problem consistently, it’s going to be a hard one to address. Thanks for the heads-up about it - we’ll be on the look-out!

I’m sorry, I wouldn’t know if that’s the first or second time. It doesn’t really bother me, I just pick the same vote. It only happens in, like, .05% of votes, too. I love NFD guardian on my phone (I just zoom in a little bit and the buttons work perfectly), and since it’s a rare issue I just pick the same thing and move on. It’s no big deal, just wanted to let you know!
