My 3ds sometimes takes a while to turn off but that’s becuz it’s quite old

If you go on settings you can connect to internet. Do you have a Nintendo ID yet?

If it’s not connecting then check your own signal with another device. Used to have the same problem!

My parents won’t let me have one.

So I don’t have any technical difficulties.

Have you connected to the internet on your DS yet? You can carry out internet tests on a DS.

So how does it not work? I mean does it give you an error?

Certain things like mobile phones have been known to interfere with the signal of the 3DS and the internet tests… but I think this has been fixed by Nintendo now.

My 3DS won’t connect to anything weak though… it has to be a strong connection in order to work. Also you need a Nintendo ID to connect now so make sure you have one. Other than that I don’t know what else it could be… as Caeiia said, does it give you an error code or something? If so, type it into Google and find out what’s wrong, if Google doesn’t provide straight answers, you can leave a message on the Nintendo website about it and one of their folks will get in touch with you.

It does give me an error code, i have a Nintendo ID… Wait a minute, let me redo it to see what the error code is…

If you go to Nintendo’s website they have an error code lookup that will tell you exactly what the problem is.
