I am writing articles for a software called 3D Coat. I have written this one particular article and was wondering if I should create one of these for every single shape? Or should I put them all in one article, (could get longish). http://www.wikihow.com/Manipulate-Primitive-Shapes-in-3D-Coat

@Ttrimm Make them individual articles, and then link each one to a main article or hub and expand each step for each shape (or organize it whatever way).

My opinion: That article is about the perfect length. This might be a series that cries out to be a linked series, like the Xhohx spreadsheets that build upon each other. Alternatively, perhaps you could list potential shapes, then group similar ones in a article (as sections). It would be super if each article had something like a table of contents with links to each of the articles. Then it would become a series you could survey, see where you were in the group, and jump to a more appropriate article. This arrangement would show the logical order much more clearly than relateds or woven links.
