I write a lot of fanfiction and I love doing it! (Page with my fanfics: wattpad.com/user/Rhi0410  )

I was wondering, if there was a way to make it into a career with me getting paid to write it.

Maybe look at a way to turn your hobby into a career…By helping others be able to do it?:slight_smile:Work for wattpad, fanfic.net , tumblr, etc and surround yourself with people of similar interests?

You can make money out of anything if someone is willing to pay you for it. But getting paid for fiction is not unheard of, it’s just that people will want to pay you for something that they want, not what you have already written typically.

As an example, there are several gigs on Fiverr where people are selling fanfiction writing services for $5 or more:

Just don’t expect to make gobs of money starting out. You might get very little at first. But if people like your work, you can eventually get more customers.

My suggestion would be to work on a specific area of fanfiction so that you have a more targeted audience.

I don’t think so… 

Fanfiction has never really made it to any shelves or stores cuz of the copyright and criticism (and other things too)… places like Wattpad are the only places where fanfiction can be done without too much worrying but a career in this? I don’t think it is entirely possible I am afraid
