Hello!
I had a project idea - would anybody be interested in a project that improves articles on personality and personal development? Potential categories to improve and check are Personality Traits
and Personal Development
. Reply to this forum thread if you’re interested in joining this project!

i’m interested! do you have a page, like a wikiHow_Talk discussion page to talk about it? or a UIB saying that your in the project?
I haven’t made a page yet because I want to get consensus.
Update: I’m making a page. If anyone wants to join this project, go to wikiHow.com/wikiHow:Personality-Project
i’ll go to the page when i’m done with some of the school work i’m doing
This is a really cool project! I joined!
UIBs and award templates are the only two template types you don’t need consensus from. However, follow the directions from start to finish and you should be fine. Would you like help with (at least the UIBs)?
If someone teaches me, I’d be willing to learn the creation of award templates - we currently have no article describing this process.
Elise, it takes more than one person saying something sounds cool to get consensus. lol
What is the goal when it comes to improving the articles? There’s a lot of ways to improve an article - fixing a punctuation error is improving an article, as is a bold edit. Unless you’re vandalizing a page, pretty much any edit is meant to improve a page, so the goal needs to be a bit more specific than that.
Also, I want to point out that articles on changing your personality or personal development are topics that need more than just bold edits - they ideally would need plenty of reliable citations and would be sent through to get expert review, since they have to do with self-improvement and/or personal or mental health and well-being. If the goal is to do bold edits, how much work are you and others willing to do in order to get these pages to a point where they can be expert-reviewed?

Good point. I think the project will try to add more information to articles so people can understand the articles better. I’ll also try to find reliable citations if I add significant information.
