Pictures don’t appear when I insert them into my article and preview them. I tried this with both png and jpg files. What’s happening??

! I’m afraid we currently are experiencing some delays in the thumbnails appearing for images – they do show up, but sometimes not until a significant delay. It’s frustrating, I know - I’m sorry about it! You can still add images and go back to check how they appear a little later; sometimes it’s just taking a couple of minutes, and sometimes it’s taking a bit longer. We’ve filed a bug report for it, so hopefully the issue will be resolved soon. Thanks for your patience
