I have a new article that I started because I wanted to answer someone’s question, but I don’t know very much about the topic.  I would appreciate it if someone more knowledgeable than myself would go in and edit the article at the link that I’ve included.

Also, if anybody has a copy of the DSM-5, please take a picture of it and use it to replace the one in the article, because I need a picture of it and I don’t own the rights to the picture being used.

Thank you all!

You can find the article here.

Edited by administrator to fix broken link

(Admins, the link in the post is broken for some reason - can someone try to adjust it?)

I’m a bit concerned about this title, honestly - nobody can diagnose anything without medical credentials. Given that most of our readers are not going to have medical degrees, it would be more accurate to retitle the article to something like “Recognize the Signs of Alzheimer’s Disease”.

Then if we do that, we run into the issue of duplicates - we have several articles on recognizing Alzheimer’s already. What makes this distinct? We can’t really make this specific to a reader with medical credentials unless we get someone to review it - but the fact is, nobody except professionals can truly diagnose someone with something. Others can make educated guesses, but that’s it.

I agree with you @Galactic-Radiance . I had a look at the article, and right now, it’s just two steps without any medical sources, and honestly, as you said, Alzheimer’s isn’t something that should be diagnosed without professional medical methods.

I did a little research and handled the name.

It seems like we have a few articles with similar titles, though. A merge might be a good idea.
