I’m surprised this hasn’t been made already. Considering the fact that it has become a grossing app on both android and iPhone with several million users, the sheer volume of people using it warrant the category. Articles will be made in droves of they haven’t already

Loads of people do Pokemon Go. I think you should ban people from making more articles on that. There’s like a million and two of them.

^ @And-Spice I’m not sure I understand? You can’t ‘ban’ someone for creating articles, that’s one way to help out here. We also don’t have a million of Pokemon Go articles. Yet.

Thank you for the suggestion. The sub-category has been created and I have gone to the effort of shifting the articles into it despite the lack of singling them out clearly. Any contributor is free to add any articles missed to the new sub-category.

FWIW, the existence of a sub-category has not been shown over the decade to inspire “droves of articles”. That is never a reason for creating a sub-category.

Also, please note there is an announcement thread already in this Forum that has made it clear that we’re in the process of changing how we make categories and so there is currently a deliberate slowdown on new sub-category creation, so there shouldn’t be any “surprise”. Someone (Flickety or Anna) must be available to make the category in alignment with category policies and if we’re busy, then this gets to wait. As I’ve already made clear in the announcement post, the articles are still easy to find in the meantime.
