Since @Caidoz
helped me with finding specific ‘numbers’ of the NAB, I have used that to see the articles past5000. Using this link, http://www.wikihow.com/Special:Newarticleboost?offset=5100&limit=200
, I can see any articles past 5100. According to this screenshot, there is only 5 for a total of 5105. However, according to the ‘official’ count (community dashboard), we are at 5159

Down to 5035 by what we see (at 19:55 PST) and 5088 by the Community Dashboard. A difference of 53, so somewhere we ‘lost’ an article.

My best guess is that the numbers in the community dashboard are just lagging a little bit due to caching or something in the system (the community dashboard relies heavily on caching because so many stats are being pulled). It also could be an old database replication problem rearing its head (the problem itself has been fixed but the after-effects still linger occasionally. I feel like we should address this problem if it continues to happen when the NAB queue is very small (close to zero), but probably isn’t a technical issue right now. The fact that the difference is fairly static would indicate to me to be that the problem isn’t getting worse, so we can examine the issue if it continues later. Thanks for noticing this! (And I do understand any concern about the data – I wanted to re-assure that aspect primarily.) Reuben

Awesome. My biggest concern was that the 50 something articles would turn into a giant number again!!! Thanks!
