On the article Make French Toast
, the images glitch out and start displaying stuff on two lines. I do not know why, but it is more of an aesthetic concern:
You mean the title text in the bottom right-hand corner? I’m not seeing it do this on my computer - what device are you seeing this on?

In general, I’d like to provide a reminder of best practices for reporting potential bugs. I know we’ve gone over these in the past, Aasim, but I’ll post again so you can apply them, and here for everyone’s benefit: 1) Use a descriptive title for easier triaging and tracking. 2) Include a detailed description of the issue you’re seeing and how to reproduce it. If we can’t reproduce it, we generally can’t fix it. Be sure to mention if you’re on the mobile site or desktop site and whether you’re logged in or out. 3) Report detailed browser information. Use a site like https://aboutmybrowser.com
or https://www.whatsmybrowser.org
so that all the info is included. If possible, please test multiple browsers/devices and include that info, too. 4) Include a screenshot or, even better, a screencast of what you’re seeing. 5) Include information about any troubleshooting you did: Are you running any extensions or add-ons, and did you try turning them off? Did you try zooming in and out? Have you tried multiple devices? Have you tried multiple pages? 6) If it’s not immediately obvious from the above, please include any information about why the issue is a problem for readers and/or editors. We have a lean and busy engineering team so if it’s not clear why an issue is a concern for a significant number of people, we’re less likely to follow it up or make any changes. We have to apply our resources in the most impactful areas, so if a bug or issue has a real impact on our mission, let us know. In this case, doing all of the above will help us figure out if it’s a widespread problem affecting readers negatively, or just an odd one-off we can live with. Then I can look into it next week when I’m back online properly. Thanks!

Thanks for adjusting the title - “Problem with some images on wikiHow articles” is better than the original one inviting people to check out a glitch. But an even better title would be something like “One article on Windows Edge browser shows image watermark on two lines”.
I tested this on the same version of Edge and see this only on this one article, so it probably doesn’t merit any engineering changes unless it pops up in other places; in the meantime, I can ask the visual team to reupload the videos and see if that helps. Since no further action is needed at this time, I’m going to close this thread. If you think this is an ongoing, problematic issue affecting multiple pages across multiple browsers and devices, rather than a one-off, you’re welcome to ping me or report again but please address all of the information in the best practices for bug reporting, not just one or two of the points. Thanks!
