Starting Sunday at midnight / early Monday morning we have been experiencing some problems with our servers, but we haven’t been able to pin down exactly what is happening. Has anyone here noticed any problems? Have you tried to go to wikiHow in the last few days and gotten any pages that didn’t properly load? Or have you tried to go to wikiHow, but ended up somewhere else? Can you let me know if you have encountered anything strange at all from Monday morning on?
Now that you’ve mentioned it, I did have a little problem or two. I logged into wikiHow and tried to access the forums through the right hand link, but it took a long time to load and when it actually displayed the page, I was logged out of the forum. I tried logging into the forums through the small blue button displayed on the right, but it told me that there was an error…

I actually have, where wikiHow loads as a blank page with links down every 2 lines (
how do I explain it), and where the forums don’t load up right either (they load up blue and the sizing/font of things is all messed up). Sorry, it’s hard to explain, but if it happens again I’ll screenshot it.
I think so, I was patrolling - I keep patrolling and I see the same exact edit even when I press skip! Also, Forums big? When I was trying to create a new discussion, the sidebar (Start a new discussion and that stuff) was gone and I had to refresh like, three times? June Days
I believe I may have experienced a forums bug somewhere around that time frame - for some reason, my browser kept changing (redirecting) the word “forums” to “www”. If I typed in forums.wikihow.com/discussions
, I was redirected to a non-existent article in www.wikihow.com/discussions
.

I’ve been having an issue with messages posted on my talk page not showing up. I can post messages to others, but when other editors try to post a message on my own talk page, I only get the email notification. It’s pretty confusing but now that I’m reading this, maybe it’s a related issue? http://forums.wikihow.com/discussion/4515/talk-page-messages-sent-to-me-arent-showing-up
Only forums is running well ! Site is showing a reload latency too.Sometimes it even says site offline.
@Admins
and Engineers Take the site offline and fix the issues.Lately no one is able to edit anything including me.Vandalism might just increase.Its better to solve the issues first and then operate.

I’ve been experiencing a patrolling issue when hitting the rollback button: “Warning: require_once(/skins/WikiHowSkin.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/html/wiki112a/extensions/wikihow/nfd/NFDGuardian.body.php on line 5 Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/skins/WikiHowSkin.php’ (include_path=’/var/www/html/wiki112a:/var/www/html/wiki112a/includes:/var/www/html/wiki112a/languages:/var/www/html/wiki112a/extensions/wikihow:/usr/local/lib/php/openid-php-openid-782224d:.:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /var/www/html/wiki112a/extensions/wikihow/nfd/NFDGuardian.body.php on line 5” It’s happened starting today sporadically (have logged off, reset windows, reboot etc) but still comes on. Any thoughts?

@Genius_knight
calm down - I don’t think there’s any need to take wikiHow offline… we’ll fix any vandalism afterwards. In the meantime, the edit button is still working for me, so if you see any vandalism, get rid of it by editing. You could even improve the rest of the article at the same time!

This has happened to me before this, but I’d be patrolling the rc, and it would stop on an edit, and I’d have to reload the page to continue patrolling
Rollback button not working for me too. Got the same error as @Kalyx
.

All admins - if you’re getting the error when attempting to delete (like me), for videos, I’ve been putting the {{speedy}} tag on 'em - it shoots it to http://www.wikihow.com/index.php?target=Template%3ASpeedy&offset=&limit=200&title=Special%3AWhatlinkshere&namespace=24
where people that have the ability to delete now (or after it’s been fixed) can delete everything afterwards.
The Special:Recentchanges page not working. @Busbyhead
I was just terrified on the amount of destruction a single missing code can do to a website.I can’t imagine putting myself in place of engineers to search for a missing code among those millions of codes! Nightmares…
