Recently, I have looked through wikiHow’s macOS and Windows articles. But here’s the thing: Some of the articles have pictures that look very outdated. For example, the article “How To Turn Off A Mac Screen” has these pictures:

And the article “How To Get Angry Birds Desktop Wallpaper on Windows” has these pictures:

Now, if you ask me, these pictures look pretty outdated. Would you agree? I’m pretty sure you would.

So, what do you think we should do about these pictures?

Well, I think we should update them. If you think I’m wrong, then that’s okay. Sometimes, I take things a little too far.

If me, you, and @JayneG think we should update these pictures, then maybe we should start a project called the Update Pictures Project. Then we could update these pictures!

Yeah, updating these pictures to macOS Sonoma and Windows 11 might take a lot of time, but it will be worth it in the wrong run. Just imagine how many people we could help by doing this!

Anyway, wrapping up, this should be really considered. Like, really considered…

P.S. More Mac articles are here .

More Windows articles are here .

Just to let you know, there was a project I began years ago that you could transform into yours. It never really got off to a good start, because very few people would come to help out in the project. You could take it over, if you’d like…transform it into something that others would want to help out with. https://www.wikihow.com/wikiHow:Screenshot-Uploading-Project . Would that be something you wouldn’t mind taking over?

I can’t help you. I neither have Windows 11 nor Mac Sonoma (I have one Windows 10 PC, because my PC isn’t compatible with Windows 11) but very little time to devote to updating screenshots, nor a compatible screenshot program that could help produce nicer looking screenshots when sensitive details get in the way.

I will think about it.

Well, okay. I don’t have Windows 11 or Mac Sonoma (because I have a 2012 Mac, and my Mac isn’t compatible.). But, does anyone else have Windows 11 and/or Mac Sonoma?
