Title says it all really. I publish a quick edit, the counter goes up as normal, and upon refreshing RCP it resets itself. Noticed it so far in both Chrome and Firefox on Windows 10 PC, as well as google chrome android browser.

Hmm, that’s weird - it’s working for me in Chrome (both counting up and staying there once it reloads). Are you changing the edit summary? I believe that within the tool, it counts the clicks of the button, but later, it has to read the logs, so it goes based off the summary. It’s obviously okay to change your summary (sometimes, better!) but that won’t count in the Quick Edit count later on, after a reload.

I usually do change my edit summary but I’ve been seeing it when I don’t change it as well. Not really sure what is going on.

Okie doke - can you take a screencast showing what happens, then? Since I can’t reproduce the issue, I can only really file it with a few examples of it happening to other folks. If it’s an intermittent issue or only affecting a few folks/setups, it’ll be a harder to pin down… but I can always report it and we can hope for the best!

Good thing we’re more about quality than quantity anyway, but I’m still happy to file it for you:wink:

Funnily enough as soon as I went back with my screencast recording the glitch didn’t happen. I presume it fixed itself - will start a new thread/repost on this one if it starts up again.
