Hi! I’ve noticed that in the forums, you can quote people quickly and easily with just the push of a button. However, it is much harder to quote someone on discussion pages, or on talk pages. I was thinking that a quote button, or a quote feature, should be added to talk pages and discussion pages. What do you think?

The template page seems a little complex, but the quote template is fairly simple =) Just type {{quote|editor|text}} for
Also what some users do is just to write the message they want to quote in quotation marks or italics and then leave a few lines before their own message - that could also work!
Yes, I actually think there should be 2 buttons at the top. “Reply” and “Quote”.

Agree with the OP. Would be a nice little thing to add. Moreso for discussion pages than talk pages, I’d think, but regardless.
