The RC Patrol app is not working properly._Issues:_1: When I was patrolling, I patrolled by user. I then checked the my patrol logs and it didn’t even show that the edit was patrolled. This has happened many times. 2: Now, the quick note is not working. I have tried to send the following template 2times. {{nfd|inc|Make Puddy}} Anyone experiencing the same?

Nope. I am not experiencing that. However, I am experiencing lock ups when I click the “Mark as Patrolled” button to patrol an edit. Maybe this is something that you should add to your list of your bugs if you are also experiencing it.

When you patrol by user, you are often repatrolling edits that have already been patrolled. I gather that the patrol by user feature is just a convenience, that you can use when you suspect a certain person needs a little help with getting started. You are seeing ALL of the recent edits of that user, many of which will have already been patrolled. If I am right about how this works, that is why the edits you are marking as patrolled are not showing as having been patrolled by you. And if I am right, there is no bug here.

@KnowItSome The Patrol By User method hasn’t been working for more than 1 year. It’s been reported in the forums already and @Anna has already filed a bug report for it. Although it doesn’t actually mark any edits as patrolled, it’s Rollback button does still rollback the edit. The edits still stick around. If you carefully watch the cycle of edits carefully, they tend to make loops (you patrol the edit once, a few seconds later twice, a few more seconds later a third time (and so on). @Batreeqah However, it’s strange that quick Note isn’t working. Whenever I’ve quick noted, it’s been working for me and I tend to use the same NFD templates in quick notes as you stated. You can always visit the Talk page of the user and send it manually if QuickNote doesn’t work or doesn’t come up.
