I’ve reported this to Anna, who tells me Reuben has it as his Top Priority: I keep getting redirected on links (from any source) to specific article pages, to the wikiHow HomePage (which is now all Helter Skelter rearranged – it’s a mess!). Lately, I have not even been able to get into my User Page, which is extremely frustrating, as I carefully track info there, daily. Call me paranoid, but I think it all started when I was asked to confirm or change my password virtually “out of the blue”. I did not verify at the time that the URL was wikiHow, sad to say, Very sad. I feel I may have let in some pirates and worse. Anna says they have seen this bug before, which is sort of reassuring. Hopefully, they will get this resolved soon, else I really cannot contribute well at all. Is anyone else experiencing these redirects? Please email me at cathectio@sbcglobal.net to inform me of same – I’d sure appreciate knowing about that. Chris Garthwaite, aka Xhohx

Could you link to the articles you get redirected from, or even capture a video of this happening?

No worries @Tiagoroth - this is already in process. Some folks are getting redirected to the Main Page but it’s not with the same links, and it only lasts until you sign out/back in (or sometimes close your browser, and sometimes it just goes away anyway!), so it’s a hard one to track. One that redirects for Chris won’t redirect for you, and vice versa… Keeps it an interesting hunt! But Reuben is working on it, top priority, so hang in there:slight_smile:- Sorry for the hassle and frustration in the meantime!

We are cautiously optimistic that Reuben has gotten to the bottom of this issue now - hurrah! So if anyone is still seeing it, please do clear your cache, and hopefully things will be back to normal for you, too. Three cheers for @Reuben ’s hard work in hunting down the issue, and many thanks for everyone’s patience with it. This one was quite the bug hunt!
