So recently I saw two messages by @TeenGal saying the exact same thing. I told her that why was she posting duplicates, then she said she didn’t see it. Then she logged out then signed back in, and then she saw the duplicate. We both don’t know how it got there. Apparently she posted it not long ago, but she says she never typed it in. How did this happen?

She probably clicked twice due to slow Internet connection.

I don’t think so… The original comment was about a day ago and the duplicate was recent.

Hmm, how strange.  In that case, I have no idea. :-/

Probably an admin can help us. You are usually the smart one, @Thehelper101 . There have only been two cases where you have not been able to help me. In talk page archiving and this situation here.

@PeacocksRule I don’t know of any particular reason why this kind of double posting would occur - though perhaps if TeenGal had a tab open with the comment saved as a draft, she might have reposted, or something like that. If it’s just a one-off and not an issue that keeps repeating itself for more than one user, let’s not stress about it. An admin can always delete a duplicate comment if you want - just let me know if there’s a need. It’s also fine to just let it stay there:slight_smile:

@PeacocksRule   Thanks for the compliment.:slight_smile:

You are welcome!
