Need guidance from the group on how to replace a few of the images that I have uploaded with either updated versions and/or new corrected images. In the image picker I make sure that I keep the same image name, and WikiHow does find the original but when I upload and refresh my articles the same original image appears. In addition to my troubles the image that WikiHow says is now “current” is the newly-updated version. Am I missing something on how to get that new “current” version to appear?
Hey there, can you give an example? Unfortunately our system is a little wonky when it comes to updating an image. Usually the best thing to do is to upload a new image, and replace the old image in the article.

Hey Krystle - Sorry to get back to you so late, been gone for the holiday. I just have a couple of the MTD-YM_*.jpg images that I want to replace with newer versions. I can take your suggestion it’s that I just don’t want a bunch of “dead” images hanging around on the server. Would those old images get automatically deleted or would I need to request an admin to delete them?
Hey, You can leave a {{nfd|YOUR REASON HERE}} tag on the image. I have never handled NFDs on images so I cannot be very sure, but I believe if you place a tag like this: {{nfd|Uploaded a newer version of this image on another title}} and request an active admin to have a look at it, it should be deleted soon. Again, I cannot confirm this technique is the abosultely correct one
