I am sure a lot of you know about it, but it really gets ridiculous why the requesters do not check carefully if the exactly same article exists already. No wonder there are about 34,000 requested articles in the list. LOL In the 15 minutes time I reported 5 (!!) duplicate articles on the “Suggested Topics to Delete”. It seems like every 3rd requested article is a duplicate of the one already existing. Amazing to me. It was only one case with me in the beginning of my experience with wiki that my article was a subject to be merged, but the rest of my 50+ articles were never any duplicates.

Can a non admin delete duplicate requests?

@Laura7491 There’s a tad more than 432,000 in the total database. Just be patient, as it is a huge process to organize and go through. @Anugal Non-admins can use http://www.wikihow.com/wikiHow:Suggested-Topics-to-Delete *** The Computer & Electronics category is thee biggest of all categories to sift through, so PLEASE don’t rush others:wink:

It’s also worth reading the http://www.wikihow.com/wikiHow:Merge-Policy Some titles look very similar, but they are not the exact same thing:slight_smile:
