Lutherans and Christians don’t believe the same way, so grouping them into the same category, makes no absolute sense. Can someone please create another category under “Category:Religion” for primarily Lutheran. When I last searched, I could come up with:

  1. https://www.wikihow.com/Become-Lutheran
  2. https://www.wikihow.com/Pray-the-Lutheran-Rosary
  3. https://www.wikihow.com/Attend-a-Lutheran-Worship-As-a-Visitor
  4. https://www.wikihow.com/Leave-the-Laestadian-Lutheran-Church
  5. https://www.wikihow.com/Leave-the-Old-Apostolic-Lutheran-Church

Well, (being a Protestant Christian myself) I’m not really for the separation of Lutheran from Christian. If I’m not mistaken, Lutherans trace all the way back to Martin Luther, who sparked the Protestant Reformation. Therefore, I would say that Lutheranism is a branch of Protestant Christianity, not a separate religion from it. Hope this explanation helps!

I’d tend to agree with Emily that Lutheranism probably makes sense under Christianity unless we begin to break up every branch of Christianity, such as Baptists, Evangelicals, Catholics, etc.

Also, just a reminder that new category requests are still on hold. It’s unlikely any new categories will be created until the hold on category requests is lifted.

Yeah, but we can queue them for whenever it does get lifted. Right?

Just keep in mind that the category structure may look different when the sorting is done than it does now, so any pending requests may be irrelevant at that time. I’ll defer to Flick, Chris, or Jayne on whether it’s worth adding requests now while the reorganizing is still happening.

( @Eric Just a reminder: Please call me Kindness instead. Emily is my screen name.)
