Under the ‘Write an Article’ section, WikiHow writes:
'I have other writing I want to share
Do you want to publish an article you already wrote? Just email it to us at publish@wikiHow.com
and we’ll post it to wikiHow for you.’
Can you elaborate on the terms and conditions for a submission of old material?
From what I remember, you can’t publish content that’s a duplicate or meets the deletion criteria
. What happens if you publish a duplicate is that it either gets merged with it’s existing sibling or deleted. Running into this issue is easily avoided by thoroughly searching
for anything that might already talk about your topic (the linked search engine I suggest using since it’s more accurate and thorough in searching than our regular search engine).

I believe this means that if you want to submit content you’ve already written, but can’t quite figure out/don’t have time to format it according to wikiHow’s specifications, you can send it to that email and it will be published for you. That makes it easier for people to submit stuff if they don’t know how to get it through wikiHow’s editor.
