Recntly, I have seen questions on the Help Team Page
that have nothingto do with wikiHow. Should these comments be removed from the page? One post I found says: “our tub was clogged we fixed that, now it seems our sink water is coming up in the tub, can u help?” Another says: “From friday i could not download millionaire city in my facebook. what to do ?” These questions are irrelevant, and do not correspond with wikiHow’s mission
. Should we eliminate these from the Help Team, or should they be able to stay?

I would try to find some resource on wikiHow that could, at least in some way, answer the question. If it’s completely irrelevant and there isn’t a chance it could be answered (like spam or genuinely random comments), as far as I know, they can be removed.

Its a “help” page, so people assume that its a page to find help. The essential point of the site is creating how to manuals/instructions. So who is to assume or know what is and what is not relevant? You can always find a possible wikihow article for their question; I always do it via twitter; instead of shooing people off or saying its plainly irrelevant. Just sayin…

That’s what I try to do. At one point, someone was posting something about saving money on their cell phone bill, and, well, what do you know, we have an article on that, so I directed them to it. Nothing to do with wikiHow, but they were most appreciative. I’d say as long as it doesn’t turn into a non-wikiHow chat, and they get the fact that it’s not just a “general” help page through their head, it’s fine to answer the question if you can.

Agreed with all of the above. Yes, the help team page is supposed to be about helping with wikiHow issues, but if we can’t help them with that, we can at least direct them to one of our articles.
