I’m not one to use the Abbr template , however, when I thought of using one in an article I began in October that I hadn’t had a chance to type up until recently, I got thinking about including some uses of this template on an article (to simplify things in the “going-to-be-long” article). Although it worked great because it displays a text box of information when a mouser hovers it, it didn’t work as planned when I sent it to mobile. It displays not even an underline saying there’s information there, making for one missing element of information. is there a way someone can make this responsive to ensure all computer and mobile devices can see and utilize this particular template?

This Abbr template is supposed to be used to display reasoning for acronyms and terms, yet, there aren’t a lot of uses of it around - in the wild - so finding them in this article when there will be quite a bit of knowledge when complete, will make these vital while keeping the article looking pruned and readable. Here’s what I’ve gotten - I used this template in the intro - but while it works on PC, it just doesn’t - over mobile - for this same page.

Hi Chris, this template appears to be in full working order for me (using mobile interface).

Maybe its a browser or operating system issue. iPhone, iOS 18.2 with Microsoft Edge…have also seen it not working over Safari.
