On an article called How to Take Care of a Scared Teddy, the formatting isn’t correct. I tried editing the article http://www.wikihow.com/index.php?title=Take-Care-of-a-Scared-Teddy&diff=13220247&oldid=13220211
, but it isn’t right still. I cannot find a way to fix it.

Looks like the # was not actually starting on a new line - it may have looked that way, because of extra spaces in your edit window, but you need to actually hit “Enter” before each # to make sure it’s on a new line, and then the step or bulletpoint will display correctly. Serendipitee adjusted it here, so it’s all good now! Thanks to Ron!
Right you are, @Anna
, and thank you @Adelaide1230
. I barely remember fixing that issue. I do remember, though, not too long ago, when I broke autonumbering by leaving a space at the end of a step and before the image code (internal link). In that case, the step numbering started back at 1. This issue was resolved with the MediaWiki software upgrade. Now placement of image code is a lot
more forgiving. Not so with the templates.
If templates are placed at the beginning of an article and a space is left after the template and before the introduction wording starts, the default font results and word wrap is defeated. You get smaller letters trailing right off the page. Formatting can also be broken at step end. There it is best to have period, no spaces, and <enter> with #* or # starting in the first position of the next line.

Girges - <i>Whenever formatting gets funky, the first place to look is after templates and after step endings: <b>Look for extra spaces.</b></i> </enter>
