Recently, I sent to @Caeiia the invitation template of my new FAF project. The problem is that other messages on @Caeiia ’s talk page underneath the invitation template was a little bit indented on the left. Not being a master of templates myself, I asked the Help Team for help. @Midnight-Dreams answered my request, but she cannot fix it either. So, if you are knowledgeable on templates, please give your help! Thanks to everybody!

Something about the template interrupts the Talk decoration… I tried shifting a div tag, but it didn’t correct anything. (Did fix the padding, though, so it has more room now.) Spoke too soon, apparently - looks like the padding setting was broken and somehow interfered with other HTML used on the page. Either that, or the universe decided it wanted to annoy me and make me think I had fixed it when in reality, it fixed itself!

Also, this isn’t really related to the template, but I’m not sure why we need to “formalize” articles? The vast majority of articles that need to be formal (like health topics) already are formal, and it’s not the end of the world if an article is more casual than what you’d expect of an essay. Heck, I prefer more casual speech to the rigid formal language of, say, Wikipedia, and I’m sure our readers enjoy it too.

Well, we could say that we just exist to fix grammar, so people don’t go around making everything like a college thesis. There’s a reason why they have version of Wikipedia just in simple English!
