I created this template “Gf Gf” a while ago. I put it on someone’s talk page as this: {{Gf Gf}} and it came as a dead link. What’s the problem?

Either the capitalization was wrong or such a template no longer exists. Do you mind giving the link to it?
I am on IPad. And truly, I had created that a while ago! Another called {{Ima}}. It doesn’t show , too!
It doesn’t look like either of the templates exists. Are they your own personal templates?

Sigh…looks like I’ll have to jump back into the forums for a brief period and solve this problem. Im on a wikiBreak, but I guess I can jump into the forums from time to time. Both the templates she created began with a space after the colon. So, {{Name}} won’t work. Try {{ Name}} and it will work. Secondly, you cannot create a template in the template namespace without community approval in the forums. Especially coaching templates. Third, vanity templates like {{Ima}} are not appropriate for The main template namespace. Create them.in your user namespace instead. Fourth, shina and Adelaide, do remember to check user contributions to diagnose and solve the problem

Yes. The next time you create a template, remember to create it in the user namespace. Also, it is advisable to nit put a colon before the name of the template.

Then take a break from creating templates for a while, and read some guidelines and articles on templates first.
Where can I find the guidelines??

I believe there is something called a search bar. I am on mobile, and can’t link it for you.
Ima, the templates in the user namespace is like {{User:Imaginationoriented/TemplateNameHere}} just like my sandbox, ya know?
Try to put the following line in my sandbox, Ima
{{User:MatthewMiles02127/Sign}}

As Matthew said, You have to follow this kind of process, Usually you put : How toTemplate:Ima But, to create it under your username space, do something like this: How toUser:Imaginationoriented/Ima (It is suggested that you use your full username, so that people would recognize you easily.) And, remember that you cannot create a template in the template namespace without community approval in the forums.
I do
know, but thanks for the suggestion anyway.
I feel it’s better if we don’t be sarcastic, since we’re here to help. If you are unable to help her, tell that directly. And, I’m pretty sure that she knows them.

I wasn’t being sarcastic. I was being quite serious. I did directly tell her that I can’t link to it from mobile. Please quote the full post, not a part of it which can get misinterpreted. I don’t think there is anything wrong with the way I replied. Jeff had replied like that once…

You could
have said that particular sentence directly.Taking some other user’s name won’t justify it, but anyway, let’s not go off-topic.

I think we need to differentiate between what qualifies as sarcasm and what doesn’t. What I said was not exactly sarcasm. I’m nit simply taking names. I advised her to use the search bar before asking. Is there something wrong with that? It depends on how you take it. I wasn’t being ride, not was I offending anybody. Ina wasn’t offended, I do t see why you should be.
OkOK it is still not coming after spaces and namespaces
