For a little while, it has come to my notice that the Social Media
template has been a bit off-sided when it comes to loading on a User page viewed over mobile. Although the template views just fine over desktop and displays all the links with no cut-off edges, if the bar contains more than a few links (more than 3), some of the links get cut off if it loads on mobile. I tried fixing it by adding the responsiveness fixes of width:auto; and max-width:auto;- style items, but that didn’t make it any better (it didn’t make it worse). Can someone please run past it for responsiveness and ensure that all the links will show when it shows it to a mobile user?
Perhaps the template could display the first few links on a top row, then a separate set of links on a bottom row to complete the links which weren’t able to be shown on the top? Also, is there a way we could simplify that template so not as many details need to be supplied when we use it?
It’s currently only on pages in the creator’s pages and subpages, I’m going to soon add it to a subpage of wikiHow:Templates
- maybe even to a brand new subpage set up to contain it and another similar template which views right.
