With all the changes going on, with occasional mess-ups on one of our end, and with the needs to demonstrate the interface, I was wondering if there should be a test wikiHow for demonstration purposes and for testing extensions. Anyone in?
Doesn’t staff already have access to one?

There’s a test environment that the engineers build and test on, yeah, so we’ve got what we need there for testing new features. That doesn’t mean that bugs won’t sometimes pop up on the live site, too, though, because changes often behave somewhat differently in production with live data than they do in development.
As for testing wikitext and so forth from a user point of view, we’ve got a test environment on site for that, too - the Sandbox: https://www.wikihow.com/Sandbox
So I think we’re all set here without spending any more resources on something that’s not needed. I know you really like playing with MediaWiki features, @UpsandDowns1234
, but overall the main purpose of wikiHow is to create helpful how-to content aimed to our mission, so that’s probably your best focus. Of course, MW is open source, so if you ever want to set up personal test wikis with your own resources, that’s potentially an option to get your testing kicks
and one more question: where is the test wikiHow located (if it is publicly accessible)?

No, sorry; since it’s for staff engineer use during development, it’s not publicly accessible. I’ll close - thanks!
