Shouldn’t this be under “General Chat”? There ar no real awards being handed out.
I think so too. It would be a fun little way to make contributors feel accomplished for their contributions, as well as potentially get to know users that you haven’t met before, since not all amazing users come to the forums.
Hey, I was thinking, I know this thread is about two months old, but why don’t we do what Metsguy234 said:
It’s a new year, we could call it, “The best of wikiHow” and I know it’s a little late in January, but we could have it all done by the 20. I can plan EVERYTHING down to the last detail, if anyone wants to do it. I’d use the suggestions above my post, and add some new ones, what do you guys say? I think that in December as a community we should vote on user awards like these and maybe for other more esoteric categories (best forum game, best userpage, etc.). I’ve run forum awards on other sites and they’re usually good fun.
